Cheat sheet for majordomo list admins.
(reserved words are ar_mo_re_d thus)

1.  The general admin password is    QuaylePotatoe
        (Please note -- this is NOT the current admin password)

2.  The syntax shown does an 'un_su_bscribe':

ap_pr_ove QuaylePotatoe un_su_bscribe colug-digest \
        browns@ee.eng.ohio-state.edu
end

(The EE dept. removed this account, today...)

3.  The   "\", IMMEDIATELY followed by a return, 'continues' a
command over to the next line, allowing building a 'big'
command.

4.  The presence of the bare word "end" tells the majordomo
program to stop reading an email for commands, so that this
narrative ls 'hidden' from the majordomo.

5.  majordomo ALWAYS ignores the Subject line for admin
commands.

6.  A 'su_bs_cribe' may be done with the following:

ap_pr_ove QuaylePotatoe su_bs_cribe colug-digest \
        browns@ee.eng.ohio-state.edu
end

7.  Another useful command is:

ap_pr_ove QuaylePotatoe who colug
end

which returns a list of a list's 'su_bs_cribers'.

8.  All commands are permanently logged, and you should be
receiving a mailing overnight showing a 'tail' of that Log.

9.  'snapshots' are taken daily of the Log, and each lists'
subscribers and configuration data, offsite, for disaster
recovery.

10.  Periodic 'reminder' emails are sent, throughout the span of
a month, respecting preparing the meeting notices, list charter
to the editors; Other postings to COLA, LWN, and to the list, go
automatically, as well.

11.  My thought is to extend, eventually, the LUG howto -- I
feel we by and large do a good job; I will 'posted' a copy of
this cheat sheet, with the passwords removed, to the full list
for comment, as an Administrivia.
