ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT  Denver, Colorado

(2 positions) Engineering position working on new storage products. 

MUST have the ability to be able to code in the kernel, know Linux and
cluster systems, go to Linux source code and make changes as well as add to
Linux kernel  -

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include designing and
implementing technology for new storage products. As a technical member of a
larger team, you must be able to deliver high quality code on time as well
as create and maintain design documentation for both internal and external
engineering specifications. You will be responsible for working with the CTO
in understanding current requirements and strategy for future direction of
the product. You will be expected to actively participate in improving
engineering processes, productivity, and technical strength.


Requirements/Preferred Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience
developing commercial software, particularly in the storage networking
industry. The ability to architect and design and implement complex
solutions is required. Must have experience with instrumentation and coding
in Linux. 

Must have deep technical knowledge and direct implementation experience in
at least one of the following areas:
UNIX/Linux file systems  - UNIX/Linux kernel  - UNIX/Linux device drivers
(especially TCP/IP, iSCSI, FibreChannel) - NAS devices - SAN technology  -
Distributed/Clustered systems software    

Must be very detailed and technically oriented, with the ability to drive
problems down to their root-causes and recommend and/or implement solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to
disseminate complex technical information to other team members. Must work
well in a team environment including working with groups outside of
engineering such as test and support.
Education/Qualifications: 5+ years experience with computer technology
required, preferably in a lab environment.
