The System Administrator (Unix) is responsible for supporting the
hardware that runs our mission critical applications.  This position is
responsible for providing the day-to-day support and systems
administration in a dynamic Open Systems environment.  This individual
will work closely with our Infrastructure Engineering team located in
the UK.

 

System Administration of HP GS1280, ES45, and DS20 servers.

AIX System Administrator

 

Our local mid-size client is searching for a 5+ year experienced UNIX

(AIX) Administrator with solid technical and project management skills
for an immediate Permanent Employment opportunity. Outstanding work

This position will provide technical infrastructure and application
support to the  Information Systems organization. The Sr. Admin will
play an integral role in insuring that business critical systems are
available. The Sr. Admin will provide coordination and communication of
all planning, designing, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and
tuning activities for all UNIX (LINUX; SUN Solaris; AIX; HP-UX) Systems.

Will be primary support for AIX 5.3 and must have HACMP and LPARs
experience, along with Project coordination experience.

 

**Job Responsibilities***

*? Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software used within the
Information Systems environment.

? Monitor system performance and resources.
