[Colug-jobs] Anyone worked with/through "General Employment"?

There's a [new?] employment outfit downtown called "General  
Employment" that is spamming all the job sites with generic sounding  
positions listing huge pay ranges (from 50-100K).  When I tried to  
get any specific information out of them, they insist that I first  
must come downtown to their offices for a face-to-face interview  
during core work hours.  I get that (if they were legitimate) they  
don't want their listings poached, but their answers were a bit too  
pat and trite and amazingly evasive, like they'd been rehearsed and  
used over-and-over.  When I asked round-about questions about the  
specific posting, the guy finally admitted that the job they were  
posting for was not even in the Columbus area.  I was left feeling  
like they're just trying to pad their resume database.

Has anyone had any experience with them that might contradict my  
impressions?
