Good afternoon!

The company that I work for is in the market for a full-time Linux
Administrator to replace an outgoing employee. I got permission to
post some of the details here before the full job posting is made.

The position is at a firm here in Columbus. Essentially all of the
servers are Linux, with the exception of a couple of application
servers. All of the desktops are either Windows 2000 or Windows XP,
authenticating to Samba domain controllers.


Now for the details:

Job Duties
	Perform day-to-day maintenance on server hardware and software
	Install and configure new software and hardware as needed
	Assist team with user support
	Perform periodic patches and upgrades during scheduled maintenance windows
	Assist in planning and implementing infrastructure improvements
	Aid in disaster recovery as needed

Operating Systems
       Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and earlier
       Windows 2000 and XP

Filesystems
       XFS
       ext3

Servers/ Daemons
    Samba
    Postfix
    squid
    sendmail
    Cyrus or other IMAP
    Apache
    NFS
    DHCP
    LDAP
    DNS
    CUPS
    MySQL or PostgreSQL
    LVM
    bind

Other Applications
    Symantec NetBackup
    Symantec BackupExec
    Monitoring Software such as Nagios and ntop

Hardware
    RAID arrays
    Cisco Routers
    HP and Cisco switches

SELinux experience would be a plus, but is not required.
