Onstream DI-30 under kernel 2.6

Howdy,

Just installed Fedora Core 2 yesterday and have found it to be an
excellent operating system. My video card's hardware acceleration is now
fully supported, lots of new goodies to be found, software runs quicker,
and over-all the system feels a lot snappier.

That said, I have one little caveat. I've got an Onstream DI-30 Tape
backup drive that used to work flawlessly using the osst driver.
Unfortunately, the osst driver relies a lot on the old ide-scsi driver
which has been deprecated leaving me somewhat stuck.

Soooo does anyone have any experience with getting their tape backup to
work using the new 2.6 kernel?

Thanks!
