Hi Peter,

First of all, good luck to ya. I just moved to the city from Sixteenth
Road, between Stoutsville and Tarlton about two years ago, I ain't
goin' back ;)

Some areas offer DSL, and there is cable in some areas too. I used
dialup the whole time.

Greg "Groggy" Lehey (check out lemis.com) lives rurally, and has a
pretty smart setup. He has his Web traffic and some storage
handled at an ISP, then he has incoming satellite, and has a
dedicated 56k outgoing link. If you are creative on how you set
things up, this setup will provide okay performance.

I don't know why he isn't using two-way satellite.

I used to work with a guy with one-way satellite, he was real
happy. But all he cared about was pulling down mp3s.

Do you understand that you will have to drive 30 minutes for a
pizza or chinese food?

You can see the stars better in the country, I saw the Aurora
Borealis three years ago in my yard out there.

Yee Haw!

Oh, they don't sell beer on Sunday anywheres. Better get a case on
Friday, or you'll be sorry (and sober).

Lincoln
