Hi Colugers,

For anyone coming to the Bay Area in two weeks--maybe for
LinuxWorld--you might be interested in staying for Picn*x, a free
"open-source picnic" Saturday August 19.  

Yes, I did write "*coming* to the Bay Area", as I just moved from
Barnesville, OH to Oakland, CA  (it was a sad moment when the Cal DMV
took my Ohio drivers' license).

In addition to free food/drink/schwag...
  "For your inner geek, the picnic has activities like installing and
troubleshooting software on your laptop, experimenting with wireless
communication, and visits to local hardware stores.  For your inner
child there is acoustic music, Frisbee, soccer, bocce ball, softball,
volleyball and juggling."
