I presently support/admin/develop for a few different companies' Linux
systems. Fedora Core 3 is installed on my laptop only because I
haven't taken the time to move to Ubuntu. I use Ubuntu on my desktop
at home and I'm sold.
Production servers range from RH6.2 (if it ain't broke), to CentOS
4.2. I'm sure Fedora could run a server fine; but, it just seems
CentOS (as well as many other distros) are better suited to the task.
I also feel the Fedora release cycle is too rapid and the support
window too short for servers...but YMMV.
