[COLUG] Finding out which updates have been applied to a Red Hat system?

Does rpm keep a package cache in /var/cache like debian does when using
apt?  On a debian system 'ls -l /var/cache/apt/' would be helpful.
Maybe there's a RH7 equivalent?
