I can't speak to the SSL issues, but I'm migrating from RHEL 3 to RHEL 4 and
in the process upgrading versions of OpenLDAP. Everything anyone who knows
has told me is that OpenLDAP 2.2 isn't worth the headache - go straight to
2.3. There should be a 2.3.27 SRPM in Fedora Core Development shortly which
will rebuild fine on CentOS 4 (with a slight tweaking of BuildReqs for
packages which were renamed in FC).
