I didn't verify all your specs, but one I seem to remember seeing  
advertised (probably in Linux Journal) is Emperor Linux. They appear  
to have some that meet your display specs and they claim hibernate/ 
suspend support. I have no experience with them.

I bought a Linux laptop from http://www.aslab.com back in 2000, but  
they don't seem to carry laptops any more.
