As long as Microsoft continues to hold a monopoly on pre-installed operating
systems, yes, we are selling Linux short.
Has anyone stopped by the Linspire display at Microcenter recently? Well,
if you did and you were thinking about buying a cheap computer this display
would not Linspire you to purchase this machine. No information, nothing,
just a lonely computer running Linspire, and slowly at that. I bet they
have sold exactly zero of them. It is so bad that I'm thinking that we
should organize and do something about it. It makes Linux look bad, exactly
what Microsoft wants.
