For web hosting, I went a step beyond and rented a
general purpose virtual server.  With this, if I wanted Python
I'd compile it myself ... no prob!  Service is from  "John Companies"
and is $29/mo for a FreeBSD "jail".  They also offer Linux v-servers.
(I believe for Linux they use Virtuozzo.  These are NOT virtual machines
but virtualized O/S with their own IP addr and process space.  Weird.)

So it's my own Apache, with PHP for the time being.
