I do get the feeling that Microsoft can read the writing on the wall and is 
trying to change as best they can. Corprate culture is a hard thing to 
change, especially at large companies like Microsoft. But the Linux community 
should keep a wary eye on these guys nontheless; in fact that's a good idea 
of all corporations including OSS-friendly ones like IBM, RedHat, and Novell. 
I'm no fan of Ronald Reagan, but "trust but verify" seems appropriate here.
