Hehe. For the record, I do not block anything. And I don't really
plan to start. I do currently run everything through a transparent
squid proxy and log web access. My children know this. Frankly, I
agree with Jim, Dave, and Scott.
My futile attempt at turning a political thread into a technological,
if not practical (as in, fine, if we're going to talk about censoring,
let's do it in a "how do I use Free and Open Source Software to censor
the web" kind of way) conversation with a sense of (subtle?) irony
embedded directly in the question...has turned into a philosophical
discussion on the merits of censoring children's access to Internet
content and Parenting 101.
I fail at the interweb.
