[COLUG] Hibernate/suspend button

A few months ago I had a neat mod for KDE--the shut down dialog box had an
extra button that said "Suspend computer". If you held down Shift, it changed
to "Hibernate computer". Just like Windows XP. Depending on it's state when
you clicked it, it would either execute 'pmi action hibernate' or 'pmi action
suspend'. This is the "Debian way" (e.g. cross-architecture, cross-system) to
do such things--pmi is an abstraction script on various platform-specific PM
interfaces. Now, I cannot find the source code (or binaries, for that matter)
that I modified anywhere, and I'm having trouble remembering how I pulled
that off. I modified the kdebase module, specifically the ksmserver
component. Is there anyone familiar with C++, KDE, and Qt on this list who
would have a basic idea of how to do such a thing that could jog my memory?
Thanks!
