Long story short my server self detonated. I lost all my config files
and my backups turned out to be useless.
Prior to this I has a smoothly running Postfix install that was
filtering and self learning spam, and hosting a few small Mailman
mailing lists. Now after trying to rebuild the system and get
everything working again I'm having trouble.
My mail keeps coming from the FQDN not the cname that I want or had
before. I am also unable to get any mailman lists to work I keep geting
"data format error. Command output: hockey: Mailbox does not exist"
After copious amounts of google it seams that this is typically an alias
problem Witch I can understand as post fix does not seem to be paying
any attention to the alias files.
So I'm asking for some assistance in getting these things up and running
again and would be willing to post any files or snip its needed just let
me know what you need to see.
