[COLUG] Samba and WinXp Pro 2002

I believe MS has removed plain text passwd support from their newer 
operating systems.   Thus, you will have to use NTLM or kerberose 
authentication.  Samba does not allow both plain text and encrypted 
passwds at the same time, even if you try per client configurations.
