A true macro lense (ie 1:1 magnification) and a ton of light (a ring  
flash would be real nice) would give you some excellent close-ups.  
But imho, for what the list needed to see, your shots were fine.  
Though slow to xfer. Thumbnails would've been nice.

You never did say, that I saw, what the model is of the mac you're  
working with. If you don't know it exactly you can use this http:// 
support.apple.com/specs/ and search by serial number.
