Thanks for the feedback, everyone.    SliceHost told me to expect an 8
week delay as they satisfy their backlog of account requests.  :(

I finally elected to give TeKTonic a try.  Their "first month 1/2 price"
deal certainly helped convince me to try them.  I purchased the Linux-2
plan, with 512 MB RAM.  I'm using Debian Etch, running Apache 2.2,
Dovecot, Postfix, ClamAV, Amavis New and SpamAssassin.  So far my memory
consumption hasn't exceeded 250 MB.

The web-based management portal is easy to navigate, if not entirely
pleasing to the eye.  Adding an extra IP address was quick and painless.
