Central Ohio Linux Users Group
Date: Saturday, April 28, 1 PM to 3 PM local

Meeting Presentation

Rafeeq Rehman will introduce OpenID, "an open, decentralized, free
framework for user-centric digital identity." (http://openid.net/).
After an introduction to OpenID, Rafeeq will provide some technical
details about how the system works.

Rafeeq's book on OpenID is scheduled to be published in June, 2007.

As always, feel free to bring with you any ailing or problematic systems
for expert diagnosis (or destruction).

The upcoming meeting is open to the general public, and all with an
interest in Free Software, Open Source, Linux, BSD, Unix, Windows are
invited.

Several members present will be able to verify identities for those
interested in CACert assurance and who have already done the
preparation. Anyone with two forms of government issued identification
(passport, drivers license, military ID, Social Security card...) can
get instant assurance points. See http://www.colug.net/cacert/ for
details, including what preparation applicants need to do _before_ the
meeting.

The group meets on the LAST Wednesday or LAST Saturday of a month,
alternating by month to allow more folks to mesh their schedules with
COLUG's. Sites and dates also depend on facility availabity, with
common-sense relocation in the holiday season. The webpage often has a
