[COLUG] Roadrunner dialup

Has anyone figured out how to access the Roadrunner telephone dialup
service? I have their login.scp, and have looked at
http://www.belikoff.net/rr-dialup-in-linux. But somehow I'm not doing
it right. Hints, references, or take-me-by-the-ear-and-tell-me all
gratefully accepted. Heck, even JFGI with the right search pattern
would be welcome.
