No. The power supply is OK in spite of the previously stuck fan. 

The motherboard, and only the motherboard, is what was bad. 

Now that I understand what Dell did to screw up the ATX standard, 
your old power supply with its stupid pin-out, 
is waiting for a Dell motherboard with the same stupid pinout.
