You really have to check your Evolution configs. It's the only place
that can tell you where your mail gets queued initially. Where-ever
that is is probably where the error's coming from. My initial guess is
that it's disk space related, but if evolution is directly invoking an
MTA, it could also be permissions or other configuration.
Asking me (or anyone else) how your software is configured is like
asking me to tell you how much money you have in your wallet: you're in
a better position to figure that out than anyone else is.
