Regarding CentOS 5

I am getting:

/sbin /mingetty: /sbin /mingetty: cannot execute binary file

repeated many times then:

INIT Id: "3" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

This is then followed by:

/sbin /mingetty: /sbin /mingetty: cannot execute binary file

repeated many times then:

INIT: Id "4" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

/sbin /mingetty: /sbin /mingetty: cannot execute binary file (many times)

INIT: Id "5" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

/sbin /mingetty: /sbin /mingetty: cannot execute binary file (many times)

INIT: Id "6" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

/sbin /mingetty: /sbin /mingetty: cannot execute binary file (many times)

This is then followed by:

INIT: Id "1" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

INIT: Id "2" responding too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

INIT: no more processes left on this runlevel

I rebooted w/the installation media, and chose F5 Rescue.

The rescue environment will attempt to mount the Linux Distro unde
/mnt/sys/image, and I can make any changes required to my system.

What changes do I need to make? What do I look for to determine what
changes need to be made?

I do not have much on this installation, and can afford to do a fresh
install, but would like to know how to fix this problem for future
reference.

Tom
