[COLUG] Firefox History

I use Firefox 2.0.0.11 with Ubuntu Gutsy.

Firefox has a nice feature of remembering data I have entered on web
pages when I return to the same page. However, when I make a mistake
entering data, it remembers that as well. The next time I go to that
page, it displays that as an option. Is there a way to clear this
history, preferably for a specific page, or to edit the history to
remove the unwanted entries?

Poking around, I suspect that the data is stored in the file:

/home/mark/.mozilla/firefox/d53ueks9.default/history.dat

The d54ueks9.default is referenced in profiles.ini and is probably
different on on other machines. The file is readable with a text
editor, but the contents don't make any sense and it doesn't look like
HTML or XML. The first line is:

// <!-- <mdb:mork:z v="1.4"/> -->

Googling indicates that mdb:mork may be a Mozilla database. Is there a
tool to view/edit this database?

Thanks,
Mark
