Well, I'm stuck with the notebook. Actually it works pretty well with
Ubuntu.

After reading your email, I got the program working by creating a link
to libGL.so.1 in my /usr/lib32 directory.  There was a libGL.so.1.2 in
that directory, but no libGL.so.1. I guess I have more to learn about
how programs search for their pieces under Linux.

Now the program runs after I created the link. It gives me the choice of
how I want to use my dual monitors (single, clone, big horizontal or big
vertical). When I select anything other than clone (the default), it
says I need to restart X to see the changes. However, when I restart X
(either ctrl-alt-backspace or reboot), it comes back up in clone mode.
If I restart the app, it says clone mode. It's like it's not saving the
change I made.
