The link above refers to:
{Not working or unknown status
{Card reader. There is an experimental patch for the sdhci driver that
fixes it.
{Camera. There is a m560x driver in development
{Conexant modem. Supported only with proprietary and pay-for drivers
from Linuxant
Yes, been there but haven't done that. I don't have a camera, and the
modem is a win modem and I think I already fixed that with the alsa
sound system which have the modem drivers. I have not tried the modem,
since I don't really need it much anymore. (I am out of town and am
having a great deal of trouble keeping a connection with the Cingular
Sierra Aircard 875 and the wireless doesn't seem to be working).
>What does Knoppix do/reveal?
I haven't tried Knoppix, but that is a good suggestion, if I have it
with me. I'll check later
Give me a while with the rest of the suggestions. I'll report back maybe
later tonight if I can keep this $%@# Cingular service running. I am in
a 3 G (top of the line) network with an external antenna in Indianapolis
and have poor service. When it works, it's great, but that's another topic.
Charlie
BTW any responses to the list to me I will not get until tomorrow since
I get the daily summary and not individual e-mails.
