You'll likely have to improvise. 

First, I'd try gluing the broken piece back on with _good_ epoxy, 
being very careful to get the proportions correct, then quickly 
well mixed. For 5-minute epoxy, I would wait a day before 
putting the heat sink back on. Even then, I would probably try 
to bend the spring to lower the retaining force. 

If that doesn't hold, there's always another way. 
I attached a big Pentium heat sink to a '486 with dental floss. 
It's been working great for years. 

If you give up, I'd like your broken stuff.
