[COLUG] Memory Leak in Yum / Centos 4.4

Howdy all,

Has anyone encountered a memory leak problem with Yum under CentOS 4.4? 
On one of my machines, whenever I try to do anything with Yum, during the 
"Reading repository metadata in from local files", Yum hangs and takes up 
additional memory (to the point the machine locks up - not long since the 
machine only has 256M).  I've rebuilt the RPM database several times.

Any ideas where I should look to fix this?
