[COLUG] Memory Leak in Yum / Centos 4.4

This sounds exactly like what I encountered in Fedora Core 6, except my
entire machine didn't lock up. I have an older system (650MHz
processor, 256MB RAM) and I tried shutting down some applications before
using yum and it seems to have worked so far.
