[COLUG] Linux Live CD with gcc (specifically C++ support) and emacs

Does anyone know of Linux Live CD that has a graphical environment
(either KDE or GNOME) along with emacs and g++?
I found a list of live CDs at the following:
http://www.linuxlinks.com/Distributions/LiveCD/index.shtml
but most of the links don't provide enough details of what is on it.
The reason is I'd like a Live CD my students could use on their own
PC as they are learning C++ (we have a Linux lab they use at school).
Knoppix does have g++ and pico/nano which is usable for writing C++
code but not as nice as emacs (which is what I've shown the students
how to use for its nice syntax highlighting, indenting, etc.). Please
no emacs/vi wars here. :-) Yes I know about Cygwin, but a Live CD
would be so much simpler for them. And yes, I realize I could build
my own but if one exists . . .
Thanks
Dave
