[COLUG] glibc error

While trying to run a simple grep, I received this error:

[root at comp1 abaqus]# grep -ri mp_mpirun_path_native 6.6-3/*

The first states "most likely a software bug trying to write beyond
array bounds".  Might I have hit against a bug in grep?

The server has 4 dual-core CPUs with 16GB RAM, running Red Hat
Enterprise Linux AS.
