Sorry about the earlier e-mail accidently sent.
Anyway, for some reason I cannot write to my cifs shares on my server. I've
checked and rechecked everything and nothing seems to work.
here is a little info just in case someone else may spot a problem.
//192.168.2.2/e /home/david/e cifs uid=root,gid=users,password=xxxxxx 0 0
//192.168.2.2/f /home/david/f cifs uid=david,gid=users,password=xxxxx 0 0
//192.168.2.2/d /home/david/d cifs credentials=/home/david/.smbpass 0 0
I've tried using root and david as the gid and I've tried using smbpasswd file
but when I try to mount using the file I get:
mount.cifs failed: password in credentials file too long.
I hope someone has some advice.
Thanks
