Colug,
http://www.eweek.com/slideshow/0,1206,pg=0&s=25947&a=206265,00.asp
In that link eweek has a nice little slideshow of the
"most important Open Source Applications of all time"
Silly in a way because it is not like e-week is a major open source
advocate but fun nonetheless.
Also I have not read E-week for a few years, maybe now that Linux
world domination is at hand they have changed their tune.
A good overview perhaps and a nudge to encourage some of us to check
some of the products out.
I have been meaning to explore NaGIOS for example. It is nice to see
it listed in there..I am out of touch when did "ethereal" become
"netshark" ?
Eclipse is continuing to be a big deal.
Webmin is a strange inclusion ? Is it used that much ? I have used
it .. I was both impressed and disappointed depending on the module.
Also nice to see that they stayed out of the linux distro debate and
just mentioned the linux kernel.
