Hmm, I already had that running; Kubuntu has that running by default. It
doesn't do anything with scanning or associating with wireless networks,
but if the card is associated with a network then knetworkmanager lets me
set up the TCP/IP aspect (i.e. usually kick dhclient).
I just came back from someplace where I suspected there might be a
wireless access point.... I first used kwifimanager to scan, found and
attached to a network with their name on it, then used knetworkmanager to
get an IP address. Worked well enough.
