Don't' get me wrong -- I agree with you -- if I'm not sending viruses or
spam junk, I'm legitimate. But there's a lot more than just our opinions in
play -- nothing in the RFCs describe valid sending IP space, The RFCs only
specify the rules of engagement for how mail servers talk to each other and
how they behave. 

But if I do decide to run my own MX, and send mail out of my *.rr.com
dynamic IP, I know that I can't expect my mail to get through because of the
way people run their filters these days.
