[COLUG] Sound Problem

My sound problem is that I have no sound.  I have upgraded my 
OpenSUSE 10.1 machine to an AMD 64 bit CPU.The motherboard is a MSI 
K9N Neo MS-7260 (Ver 1.X).

When I boot the system I get a message that 'Not enough space to copy 
PCI option ROM [00:00:00]'.  After a slight pause the boot continues 
normally.  If I enable the onboard audio controller the boot hangs 
immediately after the not enough space message.  Oh yes, I have a MB of RAM.

Consequently, I am without sound.  I did try installing an audio 
card, but the system won't boot.

Any help in solving this problem will be greatly appreciated.
