Lenovo appears to be considering Linux for us.

I don't think any preinstalled Linux could satisfy me, 
because I want to control the installation. 
As long as sufficient information is freely available about the 
hardware, Linux drivers will be readily available mooting 
whatever distro is pre-installed. For me, the closest 
option is the any non-binary (non-open) distro option.
