Having gotten my Dell Precision M65 laptop (Core2 Duo 1.8Ghz, 2 GB RAM,
120 GB disk) to work really well with Gentoo Linux, I'm overall
extremely pleased with the system. I dual boot with XP Pro

The issues I've noted are:

1) The audio up, down, and mute buttons on the keyboard don't work, but
the soft switches in Gnome do (I think this is solvable, but not a big
enough annoyance to fix, for me)

2) The modem doesn't work (not high priority to fix, but I'll
eventually get it going when I track down some spare time) and

3) I get an incorrect video resolution when I boot the machine docked,
if I don't watch the video startup. I believe this to be an issue with
my KVM, though, not the laptop.

Of course, it's Gentoo, not RedHat... but I believe they now will ship
this unit with Ubuntu pre-loaded.
