[COLUG] Linux Fest Question

Unless it has changed (ie vendors picking up the tab), the money goes to 
help fund the event (facility costs, badges, prizes, and such).  I don't 
know what the total cost to put on an event like this is, but I know it 
is not cheap.  Thus, I've always paid/donated.
