I don't have any direct experience with that printer, but I've used a 
number of HP printers, with duplexing and postscript drivers, under 
Linux.  HP printers by default use the PCL language, but many of them 
(especially lasers) also support postscript.

However, I have seen some HP printers where the Linux driver does not 
seem to support duplexing, even though the printer itself does.  I would 
find out what driver the printer uses, make sure there is a postscript 
option, and see if there is a duplexing option in it.
