The above link in my original message says it uses: hplip
And this is what I found that seems to indicate it will work.

What I'm not clear on is how you specify the duplex option when
printing from firefox. Does anyone have experience with this and can
tell me if there will be an option there or if I can just tell the
printer to always do duplex?
