Just my opinion, but....

http://www.colug.net/mailing_list/ doesn't say no commercial posts unless
posted in response to a question.  It says:


Please -- no commercial, for sale, or jobs posts in the main list; jobs
posts have their own list; commercial or for sale are just off-topic
everywhere; Repeat offenders will be silently removed from the list.

I take that as no commercial posts on the list, period.

If I wanted ads, I would subscribe to a yahoo group.
