I've been on it from my OpenSuSE system dozens of times.  Don't recall it 
actually using flash, but javascript is probably required.  It uses 
the 'standard' initial intercept of an HTTP connection to a "terms of 
service" page like you see in hotels.

SSH and PPTP VPNs work, too.
