Thanks for your input.  I an not particularly enamored by rrdtool.
It just happened that it was the first thing I came upon that would
display the data gathered by sensorsd.  The machine that had the temperature
problem does not have a  web server, thus I don't use the cgitool.
My webserver apparently has no sensors.  I don't know if it is
because it is running FC4 or because of the age of the hardware.
The box I'm monitoring is much newer and running FC6.

I tried messing with the fancontrol software that came with 
version 3.0 of lm_sensors with no satisfaction, yet.  The calibrate tool
seems to hang while trying to setup the .conf file.

Prior to having this data, I was just guessing on what speed to use
for my fan.  I should obviously wait till summer before thinking about
being more aggressive in slowing tan.  My ABit mother board has
some crude fan speed control/warning.

I'm curious, I never did see my original postings in colug.  I checked
my colug preferences confirming that it should send me my original  posting.
I'm not a frequent poster, and wondered if my access had expired.
