1. Don't fear it. If you're worried then it may be worth the experience.

2. If you're lazy like me take the Google option. There are enough
things to keep you busy if you have little or no interest in mail
services.

3. The RHCE covers a lot of ground so it's impossible for it to
require too much of any one area. If you know how to configure either
Sendmail or Postfix you should be ok.
