I can't say much for AT&T's Cable because it's not offered in my area yet, but 
I speak very highly of their internet, phone and Cell phone service.

Their internet doesn't use Coax cable, it uses a regular phone line from your 
phone jack to your modem and a Cat5 cable from modem to NIC.
