[COLUG] Dry Loop DSL

Not a Dry Line here, but I have an ADSL 768K/6M with a /29 block from
SBC. I've had good experiences with mine. I was even able to get my
reverse address space delegated back to my name servers. This is really
necessary if you run your own mail server, as many large mail providers
do regex matching on the reverse lookup and won't accept connections
from reverse names with att in them:) (GoDaddy for example).
I've had TW circuits at clients and have experienced more circuit
downtime with them than with SBC. Only real gotcha is when the tier one
neighborhood techs decide to kick start the DSLAM in the local cabinet
because they can't get someone in the neighborhood working.
Your Mileage varies dramatically based on the luck of the SBC tech draw.
Get a good one or you have to manage it all yourself.
